Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, trials, subscriptions, and Generation Units work for BuildFlowIQ.

1. Plans Covered

This policy applies to BuildFlowIQ website purchases, including:

  • Trial Plan
  • Individual Plan
  • Team Plan
  • Generation Unit add-ons
  • Subscription upgrades or renewals
  • Other paid platform access purchased through buildflowiq.com

If you have a separate signed order form, enterprise agreement, statement of work, or custom contract, that document will control if it conflicts with this policy.

2. Trial Plan

The Trial Plan is designed to let users test BuildFlowIQ before purchasing a paid subscription.

If the Trial Plan is free, no payment is collected for the trial period.

If you upgrade to a paid plan during or after the trial, billing begins according to the selected plan.

Trial access, features, Generation Units, exports, and usage limits may be restricted.

3. Individual Plan

The Individual Plan is billed monthly or annually depending on the option selected at checkout.

You may cancel your subscription before the next renewal date to avoid future charges.

Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically refund previous payments.

4. Team Plan

The Team Plan may be billed monthly, annually, or through a custom agreement.

Team subscriptions may include multiple users, workspace features, higher Generation Units, review workflows, exports, support options, and custom usage limits.

Refunds for Team Plans are subject to the selected plan, order form, invoice, or signed agreement.

5. No Refunds After Usage

Because BuildFlowIQ provides digital access, AI processing, generation capacity, and immediately usable outputs, paid fees are generally non-refundable once access has been activated or Generation Units have been used.

This includes:

  • Monthly subscriptions
  • Annual subscriptions
  • Generation Unit purchases
  • Add-on usage packs
  • AI-generated outputs
  • Exported documents
  • Workspace access
  • Team access
  • Custom setup or onboarding fees

6. Refunds We May Consider

We may consider refunds at our discretion in limited cases such as:

  • Duplicate charge
  • Incorrect charge caused by a billing error
  • Payment taken after confirmed cancellation due to platform error
  • Inability to access the paid service due to an issue caused by BuildFlowIQ
  • Refund required by applicable law

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the charge.

7. Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally non-refundable:

  • Used Generation Units
  • Expired Generation Units
  • Subscription periods already started
  • AI generation costs already incurred
  • Custom setup fees
  • Consulting or onboarding services already delivered
  • Downloaded or exported documents
  • Taxes, payment gateway fees, or bank charges where non-refundable
  • Promotional, discounted, or special offer purchases unless required by law

8. Generation Units

Generation Units are usage credits for AI-powered activity inside BuildFlowIQ.

Generation Units may be consumed for generation, regeneration, repair, validation, evaluation, artifact creation, export preparation, or other AI-assisted actions depending on product configuration.

Generation Units are not cash balances, cannot be transferred, and are not redeemable for cash.

Unused Generation Units may expire according to the applicable plan or offer.

9. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription from your account settings if available, or by contacting [billing@buildflowiq.com].

Cancellation will stop future renewals. You may continue to access paid features until the end of the current billing period unless your account is suspended or terminated for violation of the Terms.

We do not provide prorated refunds for unused time unless required by law or agreed in writing.

10. Failed Payments

If payment fails, we may:

  • Retry the payment method
  • Notify the account owner
  • Restrict access to paid features
  • Suspend AI generation
  • Downgrade or pause the account
  • Terminate the subscription after continued non-payment

11. Plan Changes

If you upgrade your plan, the new plan may take effect immediately and you may be charged the difference or new billing amount.

If you downgrade your plan, the downgrade may take effect at the next billing cycle unless otherwise specified.

Changes may affect available features, workspace limits, users, Generation Units, exports, and access.

12. Taxes

Fees may be subject to applicable taxes such as GST, VAT, withholding tax, or other charges depending on your location and billing details.

Taxes are generally non-refundable unless required by law or refunded by the tax authority/payment processor.

13. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact:

Include:

  • Account email
  • Invoice number
  • Date of charge
  • Amount charged
  • Reason for request
  • Screenshots or payment proof if applicable

We may ask for additional information before processing the request.

14. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are usually processed within 7–15 business days, depending on the payment method, bank, payment gateway, and location.

BuildFlowIQ is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card networks, payment processors, or third-party systems.
